A few things you might want to know.

How long will my order take?

Everything is made after you order. Production normally takes 3–5 working days before dispatch. Delivery time is additional and depends on your location and the service selected at checkout.

Where do you ship?

We ship worldwide. The available delivery services and cost are calculated at checkout for your address.

Who makes the products?

Our UK fulfilment partner, Inkthreadable, prints or embroiders each item after checkout and sends it directly to you. That means I don’t keep a warehouse full of every design and size.

How do I choose a size?

The clothing product pages now include the exact measurements for their underlying Stanley/Stella garment. Compare them with a T-shirt or long sleeve you already like. Half chest means measuring the garment flat from armpit to armpit.

Is the packaging discreet?

Orders are sent in white-label outer packaging and the product design is not advertised on the outside. Clothing orders use plastic-free packaging.

Can I return something if I change my mind?

For standard catalogue items, contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. You then have a further 14 days to return it unworn, unwashed and in its original condition. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Because replacements are also made to order, we don’t offer direct size exchanges. Return the original item and place a new order for the size you need. Contact merch@substandardclub.com before sending anything so we can provide the return instructions.

What if my order is faulty, damaged or incorrect?

Email merch@substandardclub.com with your order number, a description and clear photographs. We’ll raise it with Inkthreadable and arrange the appropriate replacement or refund. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How should I look after it?

For printed clothing: wash inside out at 30°C, don’t tumble dry and don’t iron over the print. Cord caps should be hand washed or wiped clean.
